Ad’ar the Professional forum to Fight the Murder of Women, opened its second course in the Neve Midbar-Wahat Alsahraa under the title “Who treats the Therapist?”
The course is designed for social workers from welfare departments in the Negev and will focus on the issue of the consequences of handling violence on the life and experience of the social workers.
The course will last about three months and will provide tools and knowledge for the field’s social worker(s).
The group is facilitated by the social worker Areej Khalaily Mahamid – coordinator of the Who treats the therapist in the Negev.
The project is part of “The family safety ” a joint project between Ad’ar, Sidreh, and I’lam organizations and funded by the European Union.

Ad’ar association: The professional Forum to Fight the Murder of Women, launnched a course for activists and leaders in Wadi Ansanas neighborhood in Haifa. The project is part of the “Haifa neighborhoods project” funded by the Dutch Ruth and Edward Snaatger Foundation.

The member of the board of Ad’ar Association: The Professional Forum to Fight the Murder of Women; Saeed Diabat, took part in the“Community Solutions Program” as the president of the Global Program Alumni Club. The conference, which took place in Washington, DC, brought together more than 100 community leadership trainees from 64 countries who have completed the program in the last year, in addition to representatives of more than 40 US non-profit organizations working in one of the fields of environment, peace, conflict resolution, transparency and accountability, women and gender.

During the conference days, Diabat presented the activities of the Ad’ar Association. He also worked on networking with many delegates of organizations working on issues similar to the work of Ad’ar Association, in order to develop relations and examine the possibilities of cooperation with American organizations and exchange of knowledge with organizations from other countries around the world, especially in the field of training professional cadres.

An exciting, professional and interesting conference of the Dutch foundation “Ruth and Edward Santahar”. The conference was held in memory of Emmanuel Santahar, the founder and owner of the foundation, in the presence of the foundation’s partners, acquaintances and members of the board. At the conference, Adar association presented the project “Mental resilience of professionals in mixed neighborhoods in the city of Haifa”, supported by The fund. September, 2022.
