Manal Shalabi, Director of the Ad’ar Association, participated in in a consultation and discussion session on building a work program to address the phenomenon of gender based violence in the Arab society.  The discussion was initiated by the Minister Gila Gamliel, the minister of Social Equality. This consultative meeting is part of the emergency plan that the government intends to implement by allocating budgets and staff in the various frameworks to combat the phenomenon of violence. MK Aida Touma-Suleiman and representatives of other feminist societies in the north, the Triangle and the Negev, and academic researchers also took part in the discussion.
